Aussaathinweise

SowingTime: February to May. Lightly file one end of each seed or soak for 2hours in tepid water before sowing. Sow into pots or trays of moistseed compost and cover with a 1/4in layer of compost or vermiculite.Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a constant temperatureof between 20-25C (68-77F). After sowing, do not exclude light as thishelps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but notwaterlogged; germination will usually take 7-30 days.

Auspflanzung

Whenlarge enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots ortrays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 daysbefore planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart. Forbest results, provide a light, well-drained soil in full sun.
