The longest flowering and best double flowered Calendula we haveever seen on T&M's trials. Strong, sturdy, dwarf, multi-branchingplants produce luminous, large, fully double blooms, to brighten summerborders and containers.
Sowing InstructionsSowMarch to May outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground welland rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 12mm (½in) deep, in rows30cm (12in) apart.
For Spring/Summer flowering - Sow in a coolgreenhouse or conservatory in late summer/early autumn. Grow on cool infull light and water sparingly.
Growing InstructionsWhen large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 20cm (8in) apart.
Thepetals can be used as a substitute for saffron, added to soups, rice oromelettes. They also make a bright addition to salads.
